Legal
Dejure Commercial Lawyers Pty Ltd (Dejure) is an incorporated legal practice and a wholly-owned subsidiary within The Boston Group. Dejure is dedicated to conducting commercial litigation work, predominantly debt recovery matters on behalf of Boston Commercial Services and its clients. Careers can start from Office Clerks, Junior Paralegals, Paralegals, Law clerks, Solicitors, through to Principal Solicitors.

Debt Collection
The debt collection career path at Boston includes both consumer and commercial debt recovery fields.

Consumer Collection Officers focus predominantly on incoming and outgoing calls with consumer debtors, with the aim of making an agreement to settle debts or pay by instalments, within client specified terms. Skip tracing is another key feature of this role, in order to locate debtors that have moved. Telephone skills around rapport-building and negotiation are the key to success in this role and the focus of much of the continual team training and development.

The Commercial debt recovery team primarily collect business-to-business debts often utilising legal means. Collection officers and paralegals within this team have full responsibility for their own portfolio of clients and debtors. Collection methods range from letters of demand and phone calls, through to all available legal avenues, with the individual managing each file throughout, from the letter of demand, to initiating legal action, all the way to enforcement action. This includes providing advice to clients on the best available course of action together with preparation of all legal documentation. External contact includes clients, debtors, Solicitors, Courts, Sheriffs and Field Agents.

The complexity of a portfolio determines the skill and experience needed, which allows movement from entry level through to senior paralegal/collections roles. High performers with an aptitude for management will be considered for upcoming Team Leader positions.

Finance
Boston Business Funding operates a comprehensive business funding service that focuses on improving business cash flow for its clients, rather than purely funding the acquisition of new equipment.

Boston provides it’s clients with traditional equipment finance agreements such as Leasing, Hire Purchase and Mortgage via brokering arrangements with large institutions to ensure the very best pricing possible. In addition, our cash flow finance solutions are designed to allow small to medium sized (SME) businesses to build working capital to fund non-securable business assets such as goodwill and stock. This may be via Boston’s self-funded Line of Credit product or through Factoring or Invoice Discounting.

We look for graduates with great aptitude and attitude to manage business for new and existing clients.

Sales & Marketing
The Sales and Marketing Team work hand in hand with the Collections team to build a strong portfolio of clients, and bring new clients into the business on a daily basis. Boston are always looking for talented and motivated sales people either in a contract or fulltime capacity to join our team, covering roles such as Business Development Manager (BDM), Team Leader, Marketing Co-ordinator, and Asset Manager.

Accounting
Boston’s accounting team look after everything from the day-to-day transactional and trust accounts of all group companies, through to extensive financial and management reporting in order to communicate financial information about our business to key stakeholders. Boston looks for analytical problem solvers who have natural flare for attention to detail. Roles include Client Reporting Administration, Accounts Administration, Trust Accounts Administration, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Team Leader – Finance & Accounts.

Admin and IT Support
The Administration and IT support are really the backbone of our company and a great way to enter the corporate arena. Administration roles include Junior Administration Assistant, Office Administration Support and Reception.

We also have IT Network Administration positions that maintain and update our IT systems and platforms and provide Help Desk services to all users, including assistance, training, troubleshooting etc for user’s hardware, operating systems, commercial software applications and proprietary applications.

Human Resources
The Human Resources department is responsible for Payroll, Recruitment, Induction, Training and Developmental work and OH&S matters
